Forum Guidelines and Instructions
Welcome to the ConsciousnessProject.org Discussion Boards, an interactive forum for spiritual aspirants and students of Dr. Hawkins’ work. The purpose of these boards is twofold:
(1) to provide a communication platform for spiritual aspirants worldwide; and
(2) to develop an information-rich archive for future spiritual students.
Please note: This is a moderated community. Once you’ve submitted a new Thread or Post, you won’t see it on the board until it has been reviewed and accepted.

This community consists of Threads and Posts. Here’s what that means:
Threads are more refined discussion topics within a global Forum. Once you enter a Forum, you can review all the current Threads, search a Thread using key words, or start a new Thread. We ask that you always review the existing Threads before starting a new Thread since your question may already be addressed.
Posts are individual comments and messages relating to a specific Thread. You can review existing Posts and contribute to the dialogue by selecting “New Post.”
How to use these boards:
1) Enter the Forum that interests you, and click on the titles listed to view the Threads.
2) You can search for specific keywords by clicking the “Search” link from menu at the top right of your screen.
3) If your search and manual scanning doesn’t render an appropriate Thread to address your issue, question or concern, you may post a new Thread by clicking “New Thread” above or below the Thread menu. You must be a registered user before you can post.
4) If you’d like to contribute to an existing Thread, click “Post Reply” at the bottom of the page

Posting guidelines and instruction:
1) Please keep your posts related to Dr Hawkins teachings. If you wish to share something of the work of other teachers and paths, please share also how you see it relating to the work of Dr. Hawkins. (If you have questions or comments about this site, please use the “Feedback” forum.)
2) Messages will not be posted that seek to uphold (or put down) a positionality, present purely personal opinion as established fact, or are designed to enroll others in particular paths, including messages of political content.
3) Messages relevant or directed to a specific individual should be sent directly to that person and not posted on the Forum. To send a private message, click on the individual’s user name and select “Send Private Message.”
4) Because of the inability of CP.org to confirm personal calibrations (especially as they relate to the Map of Consciousness), personal calibrations by members may not be posted in the public forum. If you would like to request help with calibrations, you may make your request publicly; however, members should contact you via the “private message” feature to reply or discuss. Any calibrations from Veritas or Dr. Hawkins’ books and lectures may be posted and discussed.
5) Feel free to express yourself; however, please refrain from disrespectful and nonintegrous posts.
Special Note: While this is a moderated forum, forum moderators do not act as teachers of Dr. Hawkins’ work, nor do they intend to influence the way others discuss or understand Dr. Hawkins’ work via moderation, except to enforce forum guidelines as outlined above. Posts are only moderated to ensure that they adhere to the forum guidelines and preserve the intention of the forum: to support students in studying and applying the teachings of Dr. David Hawkins. Because of the vast array of perspectives and hidden positionalities inherent in each individual’s spiritual experience, the discussions herein may not reflect “strict adherence” to the teachings of Dr. Hawkins as understood by some students.
The most accurate explanation of Dr. Hawkins teachings are found in his volumes published by Veritas Publishing or at his public lectures and satsangs in Sedona, where students have the opportunity to converse with Dr. Hawkins about their spiritual-related questions. You are also invited to get involved with a study group in your area or via our online community.
